Few of us makes enough money to offset the unknown and overpriced cost of medical treatment, so we don't self-insure against health problems. the cycle of rising costs, and the insurance company's knowledge that no one can afford health care that has been artificially escalated virtually forces customers to seek an insurance agent.

Dependence on the judgment of a health insurance company administrator, clouded by monetary rather than health maintenance concerns, removes personal choice.
